Excellent blog post by Liam Livings

This perfectly sums up the joys, and the agonies, of writing.

Even when my brain in is its most useless, stressed-out state, and I can barely string together a basic shopping list, my thoughts wander around in the shadowy background. Eventually the block shakes loose and everything pours out again. The feeling is indescribable - once the words flow again I could write for days without stopping and real life really interferes with the process!

Point 5 is the truest for me. The long drive home from my dance class each week is always the most productive, with ideas dancing and whirling through my head after 80 mins of solid exercise!
